"Owning the Streets"
We're the best sitters in town
Our Owning the Streets Workshop tour was designed so you can see what it means to be a graffiti artist for a day.
It consists of you meeting one of our resident graffiti artists, who will draw with you, and show you what to do, and what not to do. From there you walk over to either a Wall or a Cello (plastic wall)... and your piece will be up in the streets, so give it your best shot!
Note:
You'll learn all about "NY Fat caps", "Banana Caps", "Skinny Pro's", "Ultra Fat Caps" and "Ghetto Blasters" (Yeah, this tour is awesome).

Private workshops: $75 USD per person Includes: - Drawing Class - Walking Tour en route to Wall (35-40 minutes) - Design your own Graffiti with the help of our artist/ Instructor - Wall Permits or Canvas to take your work home - Minimum of 1 Participant Shared Workshop: $50 USD Per person* Includes: - Short tour en route to the wall (25 minutes approximately) - Stock Spray Paint* - Wall Permits or Wall Material in case of it being a CelloGraff - Design predetermined by our artist/ Instructor NOTE: - Shared Tours have a minimum of 2 participants; If you're a Solo Traveler, you can take the private version of this tour, that way you don't have to pay for 2 shared slots. - Shared Tours are "cash only" services (USD - EUR or CLP) |

Plaza Anibal Pinto in front of the Neptune Statue (Unless we need to change the location, for which case you'll be notified promptly) Schedule: Shared Tour: 16:00 Private can be whenever you choose The tour is about 2.5 hours long. Important: * This tour does not put your life at risk. * This tour includes Spray paint and a previous hangout for creation of the "throw-ups" What You Can Bring to the Tour: • Comfortable shoes / sneakers to run from the cops (Just kidding) • A camera • Backpack for water, paint and/ or souvenirs |
What We Include in the Price: • Professional guide •Paint (Spray and/or Latex)** • Drawing with our artist either at our secret spot or by the wall. PS: It is illegal to write in the streets in Chile. You can only do this with permission from the owners of the homes or in CelloGraffs. This tour is done with permission of the owners of each house or the administrators of the parks and plazas where we paint. * Limited tickets available ** We do not give you full spray cans on the workshop; we actually weigh them, and we have a system where we provide you with just enough paint for your design (based on Gram measures), because we have had cases where we have allowed for people to go all out painting, and the neighbors have had to call the cops on us (we know this sounds exiting to some of you), because participants think they need to use up everything, and go off the walls and into the floor, the neighbor's house, etc (Yes, we get rowdy crowds). If you want more paint than what we provide (approx 400 ml per person in assorted colors), we can help you purchase more; but we do have a limit on where you can paint, because not everyone is respectful with the community that allows for us to paint their place or neighborhood. |
